I have a Tikka M558 that I bought back in 1989 or 1990. It was offered to FFL dealers as an introductory offer for the first of these models to be introduced to the U. S. market. It is the standard model in 22-250 Rem. I have the original box with all the factory papers, hang tags & manual. I also have two factory detachable box magazines & two sets of Tikka ring mounts, one High & one Medium.
The rifle is in pristine condition and at first glance you would think it was NIB. You'll have to look long & hard to find a couple of tiny handling marks in the stock. Oh, by the way, it is a tack driver! I would guess I have shot 200 to 300 rounds through it from load development & a little coyote hunting.
All of the Blue Book of Gun Values I have looked at do not list this model. I would like to offer this rifle for sale on this forum. Do any of you Tikka guys out there know what the FAIR market value would be.
Don't care much for the auction sites & most of the locals here never heard of one of the better rifles on the planet. Getting older & thought I should start reducing the herd. No family to leave them to.
PM me your email & I will send pics.
