I cannot begin to summarize the description of this A1 on GB - you'll just have to read it for yourself. I would point out that, according to the seller, it is unique among Sako rifles in having a hammer (shrouded, of course).

And while we're cruising Gunbroker, check out the scope mounting on this .243 carbine. Why didn't I think of that?

Don't forget it is chambered in the hyper-sonic 222 calibre, unlike my 222 A1's which are just the ordinary 222, not to mention that A1's not sold here in Australia apparently ?????? Wonder where mine came from ???

Icebear: You should buy both of them, then you could combine the clever see-through mount with the hypersonic .222 with its hammer covered by a conical shell. You could then present the package to the top brass as a military prototype.

Evidently nobody at Tomball Pawn shop thought that scope could have been mounted better? I get how a bubba could have messed that up, but that pawn shop seems to sell alot of rifles. Well, that one got by them.

More likely they don't care. As it comes in, so it goes out.

Somehow I get the feeling the scope has walked in the rings and rings have walked on the weaver bases. Probably pawned because "It just won't shoot straight!".

    Or that's a pistol scope.
