Good day guys. Can someone help me with twist rates on these rifles. Sako l61r 338 winmag 541xxx (1:12? Or 1:10?) Sako Aiii 521xxx 270 win (1:10?) Sako vixen 222 rem 58xxx (1:14?) Is there a list I can look this up like a sticky posted? Will the serial lookup that you pay for tell me the twist? Thank you Delko
Should be 338 1 in 10 270 1 in 10 222 1 in 14 Can measure twist rate using cleaning rod, tight patch, and ruler. Stick a cleaning rod with a tight patch down the barrel and measure how much you have to pull the rod out to get one revolution. good luck
Would this listing be accurate for a re-barreled SAKO? Marlin's method is the only definitive one of which I am aware. Direct measurement works. Stephen
