    Welcome, Andy.

Anschutz used a few Sako actions on which to build .222 Remington rifles prior to introducing their own action (the Model 153/1533). I have heard of these Anschutz-Sakos, but have never actually seen one. I'm not sure if the Anschutz used the Sako L46 (detachable magazine) or L461 (internal box magazine) action. We would all love for you to post some photos of it!

Anschutz rifles have always had a reputation for quality and accuracy. I would expect your rifle to exhibit both.

Cool rifle. It's hard to tell from that pic but the action looks very similar to the Anschutz 64 action?

Nope, edd, that's not a Sako action. Nor is it a .222.
