• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Hello all,

I have been looking into purchasing a TriAce and wanted to get an idea of what a fair value would be. In the past, I have looked at 2 different TriAce's with the 3 barrel configuration and kit. I cannot remember exactly what their asking price was but what should I expect to pay? Any leads on any? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

emmerth

Emmerth: Here is one being offered by a gun shop in Central Texas. I have no idea if it is worth its $3,500 asking price, but for what the information is worth, here ya go: http://www.texasguntrader.com/index.php?a=2&b=182985

I do not know anything about the gun shop or its reputation, nor whether the price is representative or above or below the current market. I do know that it has been for sale quite a while and has been reduced from its original asking price.

stone, thanks...I have seen that one for some quite some time. $3500 seems high to me but there is not a huge amount of information to compare it to.

emmerth!

Saw one advertised in Sweden just the other day. Approx. $350. Probably not as new but still. I see them here from time to time and asking price is almost always between $400-800. Sometimes a bit more.

If I´ll manage to open up shop in the future I´ll send some over!

Jim

My old 1992 Blue Book lists the Triace @ $1395.00 Retail. And the Kit @ $2300.00 Retail.

And less than 200 were imported into the USA.
