Does any Mannlicher stocked 30-06 Sako have holes drilled and tapped into the top of the receiver at the factory for attaching scope mounts? I am considering the purchase of one with such holes and need to know if these are factory original or not. Thanks, Rob

robinpeck- If you are talking about a Sako factory original rifle, with integral mounts, then no, they are not supposed to have any other holes. There were some mannlicher stocked round top rifles that were pre drilled but they were a take-off style like H and R and the like. Those companies used Sako actions and made all kinds of combos .-Misako
