• Hey All! Lately there has been more and more scammers on the forum board. They register and replies to members requests for guns and/or parts or other things. The reply contains a gmail or hotmail address or similar ”anonymous” email addresses which they want you to reply to. DO NOT ANSWER ANY STRANGE MESSAGES! They often state something like this: ”Hello! Saw your post about purchasing a stock for a Safari. KnuckleheadBob has one. Email him at: [email protected]” If you receive any strange messages: Check the status of whoever message you. If they have no posts and signed up the same day or very recently, stay away. Same goes for other members they might refer to. Check them too and if they are long standing members, PM them and ask if the message is legit. Most likely it’s not. Then use the report function in each message or post so I can kick them out! Beware of anything that might seem fishy! And again, for all of you who registered your personal name as username, please contact me so I can change it to a more anonymous username. You’d be surprised of how much one can find out about a person from just a username on a forum such ad our! All the best! And be safe! Jim

Thought I would post this here, so as not to clutter up the refinishing thread.
I was taking pics of a .30-06 for a potential buyer, so I grabbed a quick pick of my M55 and M65s.

Top to bottom:
7RM (Dad gave me this years ago, started my love for them)
.243 Heavy Barrel
.270 (for sale)
.30-06 (for sale)
.30-06 - McMillan stock

I also pulled out the M595s and M695s, arranged them for a pic, got sidetracked and put them away without taking the picture. D'uh.

I love these rifles, they are shooters. The .243 I spent the summer shooting short range benchrest for the first time. It's shooting bug holes at 100, and MOA or better to 300.

A nice family of of well bred Tikkas! I have a smaller collection but will post a photo later.

I am interested in the lowest stock, would it be for sale?

Thank you for the compliment. The stock is not for sale I'm afraid, I'll keep it with the rifle in case the McMillan ever comes off again, which is very possible... there's just something missing when using the fiberglass stock, it doesn't have the soul of the wood.
